MEET OUR FOUNDERS

Born and raised in the Southside neighborhood of Beltzhoover in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Michael Anthony Day is a devoted husband to his lovely wife Amber and a loving father to their daughters, Elise and Edyn. The youngest of six children, Pastor Day’s extraordinary journey began at age five, playing drums for his grandfather’s church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at 14, began teaching Sunday School at 16, and preached his first sermon at 20, setting the foundation for a lifetime of God-appointed leadership and ministry.

A gifted, classically trained musician, Pastor Day honed his craft at Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts High School, the Community College of Allegheny County, and Duquesne University. His musical talents have taken him around the globe, ministering alongside gospel legends such as Kirk Franklin, Chris Tomlin, Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Rance Allen, and Daryl Coley. He also served as the Music Director for the late Dr. Douglas Miller for over a decade. Expanding his passion for the arts into business, he founded MADE Productions (CEO of MAD Enterprises) in 2010 to provide professional services for artists in music and entertainment.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for humanitarian work, Pastor Day serves as the Founder and President of Legacy Community Options for all People (LCOP Inc.), a vital community development corporation and non-profit creating affordable housing, resources, and supportive programs for youth and families across Pittsburgh. In 2015, Pastors Michael and Amber Day founded Legacy International Worship Center (LIWC) "the church for everybody” a vibrant, multi-ethnic Northside staple known for discipleship, prophetic ministry, and visible miracles. Serving well over 500 individuals monthly, Pastor Day also shares his transformative insights as a strategic consultant, trusted pastoral mentor, and author of the compelling book Clean Your Room.

Recognized as an Emerging Apostle, Pastor Day preaches with boldness, conviction, and humility. He remains steadfast in his divine assignment: cultivating spiritual gifts, empowering communities, and expanding the Kingdom of God through selfless service and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
